So planning has been in the works as most of you have seen on the previous VM forum.


Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and California Mazda Clubs are coming together once again this year for our 2nd Annual Southwest Mazda Meet. (Formerly known as Tri-State Meet)

All updates, information, itinerary for the exciting weekend will be posted on this thread as well as discussion on the upcoming meet.

WHEN: October 10th, 11th, and 12th (Friday, Saturday and Sunday: Now is the time to request off, mark calendars and save some money)

WHERE: October 10th (F) - Laughlin, NV
October 11th (Sa.) - Lake Havasu, Az
October 12th (Su.) - Homeward bound

WHO: VM, AZMC, MOCC, UPOC, anyone is welcome, bring yourself, and your good attitude!

ESSENTIALS to bring along with you:
Walkie Talkies, water, money, clothes, cameras, zipties, tools that may come handy in time of need.
Don't forget to do a routine check on your vehicle if you plan to drive prior to leaving this event (Oil, filters, make sure everything is running in good order) we don't want anyone to be left behind.
if your car is not running as you hoped it would for this event, feel free to ask around, most of us are willing to give rides to this event.

These are the two hotels where we have reserved EIGHT (Cool rooms:

Laughlin, NV -
Tropicana Express Hotel Casino

$69.00 (includes all taxes and fees)

Lake Havasu City, AZ -
Americas Best Value Inn Lake Havasu City
101 London Bridge Road, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403
$79.44 (includes all taxes and fees)

Additional rooms can be added if needed. Reservations must be individually confirmed and paid before September 10th.
If you do not reserve one of these group rate rooms before the 10th of September, you will need to make your own lodging arrangements.
Each room has two beds and are for "double occupancy". How you actually use the rooms is up to you.

I will post a group number and a link to the reservation site in two days that you can use to reserve your room.

um, $69?Huh?Huh?? thats like $30 more then the other one!!!! I might try to find a cheaper one.. unless that includes free dinner and free breakfast!!!!

yeah i know that is a lot more than last years, but you brought up a good point, lets ask jeff if we're getting free din din again and yum yum breakfast this time! i sure hope we are that would be awesome!
